VISUAL ARTIST - EL SALVADOR

Entered the fine arts formally in 1982 at the National Center of Art of El Salvador. He soon became a hyper-realistic portrait artist and later a surrealist painter with focused on human behavior, which remains his main topic of interest.

His passion for photography started at the age of nine in his father's darkroom, and it was later formalized and improved during his five years as a journalist when he also received his training in journalistic writing.

At the start of his journey as a visual artist, he was highly influenced by the realism of Michelangelo Buonarroti, the psychology-tint in Rene Magritte's paintings, Caravaggio's lightning, and Kandinsky's concepts of art.

At present, his collections include photography as well as acrylic painting, digital art and silver work. Regardless of the media, he continues to tell the fascinating story of human behavior.

In his own words: "All technical factors in place, I let the fine arts and experimentation to direct the form of the story of humanity, I fit the content into that form."
